Type of a scam Online Purchase
We recently lost our 14yr old male Pomeranian. We have a 1yr female left lonely and depressed. We’ve been trying for a while to rescue but think we are being passed by because of age. We see the Pom puppies online. I asked if he was still available. He said yes. Puppy was $500 plus $150 for shipping. The only way he accepted money was Zelle. I always used PayPal. This was my first and last ever using money apps. We sent the money and he was supposed to be making arrangements so we would have the puppy the next evening. The following morning the Transport calls (another scam) Happy Pet Travel. His Zelle name was Elvis Jomia..phone was 740-743-7196
He proceeds to say crate was not accepted by airline and wanted us to purchase a crate for $900 or $1200. He said we would be refunded when puppy is delivered. The puppy site said they were a family owned business since 2008. If true they would have known about the crates. We refused to send more money. They both wanted money thru Zelle or cash apps. Needless to say we lost $650 and did not get a puppy.
