Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

Received an email about a great part-time income as a mystery shopper. No investment required. Was told that a Priority Mail package would arrive with money to do the shopping plus some to keep for my work. The envelope arrived with a USPS Postal Money Order and instructions to buy iTunes Gift Cards from any of the listed stores. I became suspicious because the grammar in the letter was odd. All correspondence was from Edward Bronson, but the Postal Money Order was from Cheri Martenson and the name on the envelope is Donald Powell. I googled the address on the envelope and found it is a vacant house that was recently put up ‘for sale’. I googled the address on the money order and it belongs to Avalanche Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. The email address for Edward Bronson is [email protected] The email address that I am supposed to email is ‘[email protected]‘. It seems that a legitamate business would use .com instead of .org. The letterhead has the BBB stamp on it, but they don’t show up in the BBB directory. Not depositing the money order.
