Those selling cars on KSL, be careful. If you list an automobile on KSL, you will probably be contacted the same day, or soon thereafter by someone posing as a buyer. They will ask you questions about the car and tell you that they want to come look at it, but then they will want you to sent them a vehicle report and will tell you that they have a company that is cheaper than carfax. If anyone asks you to buy a car report, they are a scammer and are not interested in your vehicle, but only wanting you to purchase their product. Do not do it!

I submitted a vehicle online for sale and different numbers keep calling wanting to set up a time to meet says they are really interested in purchasing the vehicle and that they only have a couple days and mine makes the most sense then asks for availability and to meet but needs a motor vehicle report first (like a car fax but scam name) and that’s how they get your debit/credit info by you going to one of there fake motor vehicle sites myhistoryaudit.com or UVreport.com. Make sure to use a secure site don’t make the same mistake as i did.

I am selling my car on an local online website I received a text from a person asking questions about the vehicle after a number of texted this person told me they were interested but needed a vehicle report so ifold them I would pay for a Carfax they stated that they wanted me to use a report I had never heard of so I told them that I would get a Carfax it was well known they stated that they wanted the specific report because it was more detailed than Carfax so I purchased the report and the only thing it showed is the it had been registered in my town since I bought it and no other information so I texted them saying that the report didn’t showed any of the things we had discussed and they said they needed me to send screenshots of the report anyway so I sent them after I sent the screenshots all communication stopped . I kinda figured this person work for the company and is paid buy sells commission that why they needed to screenshots to prove they sold the report
