Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

A lady called my cell claiming to be w/the government and stated that seen I’ve paid my taxes on time The government is giving me $8,000. She asked me the following: age, dependent a, and if I worked. She then stated I could receive the monies in 3 ways: in my checking acct, on my credit card or a western union. I told her this was a scam and she insisted it wasn’t. She gave me a number LA1429 And told me to call 202 599 0367. She was calling from 845 582 7032. I unset her when my response was I don’t believe you but ok. I never gave her any info but I wanted to report this. Oh I never called the 202 599 0367 number. Everyone in the background was also speaking with a foreign accent.
