Saw this advertised everywhere online, Facebook and Instagram during cyber Monday deals and had really good price for weighted blankets. Placed order and then 10 days pass and no shipping confirmation. I was thinking it would take longer because of all the orders during black Friday and Cyber Monday but 10 days is a while. So I contact the email and then 48 hours pass and still no word. Then I start to look for reviews not provided by the website and see that this is has happened to many people and that customer says they will try to look into or they don’t any emails back. Email is the only way you can contact them as well. However they take the money out of your account same day of purchase. Cancled the order because it hasn’t shipped yet and still no word or refund.

I placed my order for their Black Friday specials of a weighted blanket, cover and free eye mask, order #***, on November 23, 2018 at 8:12am and received a confirmation email. Their advertising stated 2-day free shipping as part of their Black Friday promotion. On November 30th, I tried to call the company but no phone number is provided. I completed their ‘contact us’ online form and received the response below stating they are behind on shipping. Today is December 12 and I have not yet received my order, nor have I receive shipping information. I have requested a refund from the company. I will wait 48 hours for a response then contact my bank and notify them of the disputed charge.

An independent review website (Trust Pilot), has received many bad reviews about the company. The company has responded to some stating that customers were notified about the delay. I was not notified directly – only when I asked.

I believe this company to be unable to fulfill their commitments at best and scamming individuals at worst.

I wanted a weighted blanket really bad for Christmas so begged and begged until he finally agreed to get me one. I could not find one that I wanted on Amazon so I googled "soft weighted blankets" and came across the website https://www.mycalmblanket.com/ It seemed reputable to me. They had seemed to have done their research on the blankets, the website looked like it had been done pretty professionally. Nothing on the website gave off any red flags. A few weeks after the money had been taken out of his account, it had been way past the time frame the company had given him to expect the shipping email so emailed the company. A week later, no response. The website said they would respond within two or three days. So I tried to facebook message them. I thought, "hey, messanger says they usually reply instantly. companies are usually better are customer service on social media nowadays anyway let me try" no response for days. I email them. No response. I comment on their facebook wall. It’s erased. Go to their very sketchy instagram and their only comments are about how its a scam and how not to order. When I took a closer look, after the fact, the facebook page is very sketchy as well. I should have known better. Either they are a very unorganized veryyyy new company who needs to give us a very big apology and hire a customer service consultant or we just got scammed and I owe my boyfriend $250. Beware before you buy.
