From ‘Municipal Services Bureau this is neither a sales or solicitation call in reference to and important matter. please call 1 800 295 0851 then gives hours open for service from a central time zone location. No other identifying information. I have received this call at least 2 or 3 times. Sounds very like a real call I received from my bank regarding a legitimate call to identify a possible fraud card user only less identifying information than the bank gave. I was able to call my bank with my bank number to follow up on what was fraudulent use of my card. I have not called this number back.

is scamming people by trying to collect old traffic citation fees. When I called the company to inquire about the alleged violation, they put me on hold and told me that they had the wrong person. When I asked them how they acquired the information regarding the alleged information, they said it was a different department.
It appears that this company is scouring municipal records and trying to collect fees from unsuspecting victims based on their findings. Please note that my citation was 4 years old and had been paid.

Consumer, Ms. Johnson, receives a call daily from a number that does not identify itself through caller ID. What shows up is "out of area". She does not answer and the caller leaves a message. Caller states that he is Nicholas, from Municipal Services Bureau, and that he is calling on an urgent matter, and hints that it may be a legal issue. He then requests that the caller contact him at 800.295.0851. The consumer refuses to contact them as she does not have any legal matters, nor does she owe anyone any money.
