I am currently looking for a job , I have an account with Indeed this is how the scammer contacted me. She was offering me a position. I called the number provided on the email to ask more questions and get more information about the company. She mentioned that she would need my bank account information. Her questions where: Do I need health insurance ? Can i get health insurance? I answered with i can probably get insurance through Medi-Cal. She replied with Oh, I would have to talk to my boss about that, I’ll email you the response. Couple hours later I get email stating I didnt get the position because I was going to get mesi-cal as my health insurance. Of course I didnt give her my bank account that was a red flag.
