I got an e-mail from an Insurance Agency out of Illinois. The subject of the e-mail was “Notice of Claim”. The only thing in the e-mail was a contact name and phone numbers. There is also a word document attached that I did not open.

There is a web site associated with the company, and the name in the e-mail is in that web site, but the phone number in my e-mail does not match.

I called the number from the company web site (not from the e-mail), and the lady told me that it was a scam and do not open it. The agents e-mail was compromised
