Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I posted a saddle for sale on Craigslist i received a text message from phone number 909-503-9349 saying

(1/2)Please respond to my wife at {[email protected]} She is very much interested in your ( Henry Miller saddle – $550 (Mount airy nc) ) and i will tell her to check her email now

I emailed her (Leola Enyart) and she wanted to mail me a check for the saddle plus extra that I was to send to a Melony Wright.. later I was reading online and the same thing happened to someone else by the same person so I cut ties. Revived check via FedEx. I took the liberty of wringing “VOID this check is fraudulent do not cash/deposit”

But as you can see the amount is for 2050.00

The saddle was only 550.00
