For the last 3 days, they have called me each day. Each day it was a different representative. When I asked the name of the company, they said "Mortgage Review Center." The only company registered under that name was registered in Kissimmee, Florida in 1994 but then registered as inactive in 1996.
When I asked to be removed from their calling list, I was told I could not be because I have a VA loan. The lady then told me she would give me a call back later…
They use the phone number masking so that the number appears to be local.
They had basic information about my home loan, such as balance and interest rate.

Guy called and asked my home (that my parents owned and I lived at years ago) and reportedly said I was listed as an owner. I knew immediately this was a scam. I asked how he got my number and he hung up immediately.

Male calling himself Kevin from "The Mortgage Review Center" called. I suspect he recorded my voice saying, "Yes". This is what was said.
Him: Hi Mr. or Mrs. Hauser?
Me: Yes
Him: Hi, this is Keving from The Mortgage Review Center. How’re you doing?
Me: Fine thanks.
Him: Disconnectd the call
