Caller claims to be my mortgage company (they are not and couldn’t provide an ID# to me) wanted my bank details to submit mortgage payment via western union or moneygram (AS IF!) but someone may fall for this scam if they are promised a lower payment etc.

Week before I also received call from Joseph Gibson claiming to be my mortgage company at phone number (904) 410-5493 also a scammer looking for bank details for a reduced mortgage payment and interest rate.

I have informed my mortgage company (PHH) and they also have these numbers on file and asked that I contact ScamPulse.com also.

Female called from a local number here in "Pamlico County". She indentified herself as "Christie" and talks so fast she does not let you interupt her. The first call I just hung up as she would not listen to me saying I was not interested. She called back fifteen minutes later ON A DIFFERENT NUMBER – 252-249-8541, introduced herself as "Christie" Same Voice as before….fast talker from mortgage company. Would AGAIN not take No for an answer….I started yelling at her saying you just called not fifteen minutes ago….she insisted I listen to her options….I still was yelling at her and told her I was going to report her. But SAME GIRL from the other number 252-249-7378.

505/431-1617 This people have been calling our house phone and cell phone numbers for quite awhile now and are sick and tired of it!. When it’s not the house phone they call or cell phone numbers and believe they call from different numbers! I got a call a couple of days ago from this people on my cell, it’s a recording, it’s a woman that say’s, this is Sara, a Mortgage Company and than it hangs up,it’s been happening for awhile now! I tried calling the number earlier and it says, Customer Service, if your calling about so and so etc, if you want to talk to someone, no one is available at the present time. Please investigate this calls, I’m more than sure they’re fraudulent calls. Another number you can check is 931/228-5732, they call often and when you call back I hear a recording saying the number is not in working service right now. Were sick and tired of the annoying calls since 8 o’clock in the morning.

The person called my on my cell phone and said she was calling from the mortgage reduction department saying I had a perfect payment histrory and I said yes and said not interested and the line disconnected . I called the number back and the phone was disconnected . I remember reading about a phone scam where the record you saying yes and then u get charges on cc or utility or money missing from your bank account . I called my cell phone company and they ask if I gave out any other information. And I said no. They said u should be ok but I still am concern .

Man on phone stated he was from a mortgage company and would like to offer us a cheaper rate. He then proceeded to ask me, "can you hear me ok?" so that he could record my yes answer. After I replied yes, I realized that this was one of the latest phone scams that I heard about and I hung up. Now I am worried about further problems down the road due to this!!

Was a short phone call in which I was asked a question pertaining to my mortgage. And when I asked them what it was about, the caller asked me " can you hear me". I said "yes" and they hung up. Then it hit me, I remembered this phone scam was reported on the 10 o’clock KHOU channel 11 news in Houston this past weekend, January 28th or 29th, 2017. It is also listed on their website at KHOU.com. This happened to me at 2:24 pm January 30, 2017 as I was walking through the Lowes Stores in Conroe, Texas. So far there has been no further contact. Let me know if there is more I need to do.
