Shame on us for not looking more deeply into reviews of Modist Furnishings or we could have avoided this scam. Modist puts out a very professional front and customer service experience. They then require payment via check (no credit cards) in full prior to delivery because of the "custom nature of the furniture". Once payment is made, you will never be contacted again. We have left over 30 calls/emails with no response. We had the cell phone for our sales rep who has also disappeared. We ordered over $10K in commercial furniture that never arrived and the company has gone completely silent. Rosetta the "owner" was very professional up until the payment was accepted so be aware! We have never heard from her or anyone from the company since. I only hope another business will benefit form this loss.
