Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I was approached to be a secret shopper for this co. I was then mailed a check for $2450 along with a page of instructions for my "trial" evaluations. I was to deposit the check in my personal account and then withdraw $2100 to make moneygram transfers at two Walmarts. I suspected a scam so I did some research on this and did not deposit the check. Walmart does not use outside companies to evaluate their performance. The check is a fake and will be removed from my account AFTER I have taken out the $2100 and wired it to the secret shopper.
