I was "hired" to work from home. My job was to recieve products through UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Then my job was to scan the invoice that was in the box and send it to them also send them pictures of the item and then gift wrap the items and send them out with a prepaid shipping label that was sent to me through a virtual office online. I recieved a "bonus" for each item i shipped out. It was usually five dollars. That i actually recieved. When it came time for them to pay me i never recieved payment for my services, I contacted them and they said that my payment would be put into my paypal account in three to six hours. After that i was no longer able to log in to my virtual office and they wont respond to my phone calls. I personally know one other person that was also "hired" by this same company and the same thing happend to him.

There is a company called Million Wishes, which has a somewhat legit website (www.million-wishes.com) providing printing and design solutions. These individuals found my resume though CarrerBuilder and contacted me regarding a home based position (gift wrapping). They say that they will pay $ 2650.00 a month to wrap 30-40 gifts a week.

I was sent an e-mail with a link to fill out an application, which would have received enough personal information for identity theft.

In the e-mail they provided Human Resources Department Tel.: (347) 826-4626/(347) 441-4119.

When calling either number, the same person answers, however it is not a professional greeting. The connection is very weak and it sounds like it is through a MagicJack device (as these devices can be registered to get any area code in US ("347"New York), however it can be used from anywhere in the world).

If you get such contact, please verify the company through BBB, before releasing any personal information, as you can be a victim of an Identity Theft.
