Type of a scam Online Purchase

This person that posted this website does not have puppies however goes through a very detailed process to get your money. I personally spoke to him over a 2 day period, had him send me video of the puppies etc. My mom-n-law also did the same. I searched the internet to see if he had been reported as a scam before sending him money. Unfortunately he is a scammer. Requires you to send deposit vi$500 eBay gift cards, which I questioned he also said he would take Zelle however I was not wanting my personal account to be linked to him just in case. I should have listened to that voice inside that said the is to good to be true. The minute he got the funds he quit responding, I called eBay and they stated that he used the funds on the gift card within 5 minutes of receiving on phones. Which I assume are burner phones. I want to help others not get their money lost on this fraud!
