Dear Fraud Investigators,

I am writing you to protect others from a company that intends to take advantage of people who look for a job by sending them money before they begin work. If I had cashed the check, I would have owed the bank $1680.35. One day recently I filled out an consumer analyst-secret shopper form that was emailed to me and suddenly my facebook account password was attempted to be changed. I gave them my email, name, address and telephone number. I had Facebook lock my account immediately. Then I got a fraudulent check in the mail. And prior to that many e-mails saying that my first payment was coming to me. I had not read these e-mails until I got the check in the mail. The check is a fraud/scam. Please investigate this matter. I have attached all pertinent documents to this letter. If you have any questions please call me at *** using my name as *** not *** ***. If you do not use that name, I will not speak to you.

I received a check in the mail in the amount of $1680.35 from a company that doesn’t owe me anything because I have never heard of them. Microwave Telemetry located at 8835 Columbus 100 Parkway, Columbia, Md. 21045. It was delivered through FedEx. My husband and I looked up the company immediately because no paperwork, no details were included in this envelope. We got a matched search and called the owner listed. His name was Paul H*** ***. My husband spoke to him and He asked him for the check number. My husband gave it to him. It was check number *** from M&T Bank, 491ecutive Park Drive, Columbia, MD. 21045 dated 1/27/2016. The owner said that he wouldn’t cash that check, it is a fraud. The next hour later a lady from FedEx rang our doorbell looking for a package pickup. We told her that the package was delivered already and that we don’t have nay pickup. We asked her who called her to come do a package pickup? She said that this was her route and they (her office) had her come do a package pickup. We believe that the owner spoke to FedEx to get the package back. He is a part of the scam. Please look into this. For information please call me at ***
