Here’s what happened to me! Notification that said from microsoft that security has been breached and my computer has been locked to call the number. So, I called with mixed feelings. The tech asked for access to my computer to find out what type of security breach had occurred. They ran some scans and showed me that 5 foreign companies had gained access to my laptop and all our devices. I listened and asked several questions. Turnes out they were trying to sell me another firewall @ $149 just to repair it today but wanted to talk to me about a lifetime plan. I took their number and told them that I would call back. I immediately called my bank and they checked my account. After explaining the situation, she told me that was a scam.
