Received a call on my private line at work. Company has over 25,000 employees. The woman said she was from Microsoft and she wanted to offer me 4 months of Microsoft. I asked her how she got my private phone number. She said she called the receptionist. I asked who she spoke to since our department doesn’t have one. She said a man. I asked for her phone number. She said she didn’t have one. I asked her again for her phone number. She said she didn’t know what it was. I told her the number that came up on my phone for her and said that I would be reporting her to the ScamPulse.com. She hung up the phone. I redialed the phone number that was on my phone (617-555-0149 from Massachusetts) and it said that the number could not be reached, please contact tech support at 0414. By the grace of God, hopefully nothing will happen.

Do NOT purchase from microsoft support. It is a scam. I purchased from them for lifetime security for my computers and paid plenty for it and their support. Not even a year later and here they are calling me telling me that I must have "accidentally" erased the protection from my computer and trying to resell it to me again. *** NO. not happy ??

I manage my father-in-law’s computer. His Edge Browser was hijacked, today, by malware originating at IP Address 104.207.133.0. The malware spoke claiming that malware infected his machine and was leaking his confidential information to the internet. The only way he could stay safe was to dial 844-782-5146 and speak to a representative.

Scammer locked up my computer, said they were Microsoft remote there to protect my computer from virus and hackers. My computer was locked could not get off page or shut down. They caught me a very vulnerable moment. Questioned them numerous times. Put their Manager on the line to reassure. They assured they would sent a hard copy by mail and e-mail me verification, which of course was never sent. Check with a local Computer Repair Company and they stated they had recently had numerous calls regarding this same issue. They told me straight out I Was Scammed!!!

A person named Danny Roberts called me saying he was with a company called ** *** and that he needed to help me resolve some hidden errors that were being reported on my computer related to Microsoft. I told him a didn’t report any errors and he told me they were hidden errors on my computer. He wanted me to give him online access to my computer. I asked him to verify his company name and asked for his company’s website URL but was told they didn’t have one. He then gave me his phone number to call him back at and ended the phone call with me.
