Type of a scam Tech Support

Caller identifies them self as Microsoft IT… states my computer is sending viral emails… then requests I "share" my computer desktop with them, so they can show me the issue. They cannot verify who they are… They offer to provide a phone number, to call them back on… yet that is not a verification…

The phone number on my caller ID states "Unknown" and shows a 9 digit number, not 10 digits, so not a complete number.

The only PC on in my house, using MS, is a business PC with full virus protection (McAfee)… I’ve confirmed the latest update… and run a full scan.. no issues found.

They’ve called 4 times… each time we’ve asked them to not call back again…

This appears to be a SCAM of some kind…

I’m not sure what they want… but I’m not falling for this…
