Okay, so I’m sure that anyone that has been or is currently looking for employment has been bombarded with scam employment offers like I have. In fact the website Freelancer.com has been 100% scams that I have been contacted by! 100%!! And? When you try to report them to the company they act annoyed and as if YOU have done something wrong. Makes me think that they are in on it. I mean come ON, 100% scams AND they get annoyed if you try to report it to them to keep their site safe?! I call BS. So……having been constantly hit with scam offers (talk about annoying!) I have become excellent at recognizing them within seconds (and then cussing them out either via email or text because it pisses me off). This particular scam that I’m reporting was different. I couldn’t decide 100% if it was a scam or legit until I really started looking into it, it was THAT good (they are obviously upping their game since their half [censored] lame approach isn’t working very well anymore). They are actually making almost real websites to support their scams for employment offers. But they always show their cards in their spelling, grammar, incorrect use of words, requesting a copy of your driver’s license, mention banking information, talk about paying you and having you pay other people (or the accept a shipment and forward it scam), they always pay too much for the positions, etc. Check out the email I received below that I copied and pasted and you will see what I mean about it looking almost legit…….almost. Trust your gut people, it’s NEVER wrong and they count on us being desperate and/or greedy (which seems to get them no shortage of victims) so PLEASE do your homework and do NOT send these fools ANY information or documentation!

We are expanding and looking to startup a new annex, around your abode, this primarily is why your service has been sought to help with various virtual duties and majorly to help with necessary requirements/errands to ensure the smooth startup of our annex. You will be working remotely form home for a required 90-day training and trial period, which will not affect your weekly wage and you will report directly to Mr. R. Tillinghast the Executive President Operations. Upon the completion of orientation and registration, you will begin your job duties, which will include; scheduling meetings, responding to emails and phone calls, managing invoices, providing customer service as first point of contact, creating presentations as assigned, organizing managers’ calendars and making travel arrangements. There will be a variety of additional projects that will need your attention as well.
The position is part-time, 3 times a week, 10 to 15hrs weekly (minimum) and these hours will be based on your weekly availability. Your initial compensation includes a weekly salary of $450 payable bi-weekly, and subject to deductions for taxes and other withholdings as required by law or the policies of the company. Any extra personal expenses (transport, gas, etc.) incurred by you while executing errands or otherwise will also be reimbursed at the end of each working week. Necessary payment to execute errands alongside your stipend will be done by an outside agency who does payroll, securely via direct deposit and instant secure bank transfer. So, as a basic requirement for this position, you require an account with the company’s affiliated bank USAA. If you already have an account setup with USAA bank, then proceedings will be easier, if not the payroll manager will have to issue you the required USAA bank card for payment of stipend as well as incidental payments.
