When at first contacted with the opportunity to be a part of a elite group of professionals dedicated to the service of the people, I was beyond excited. To submit pieces to be published in Men’s Health Magazine is one dream of mine which I thought I may have achieved. Then the call and fees…. $85 / month. I found it odd and did some research. "Ruben Sinclair director of membership" is the listed Point of contact and the one who supposedly called me. His LinkedIn account is nearly blank and he has several other "Companies" listed as his clients, all of which, when searched have identical pngages with only the wallpaper changes to reflect the topic. "Forbes Council" Men’s Health Council, Etc. Then the follow up email came and it was riddles with errors. This companies lack of history, professionalism and visual legitimacy should be a huge red flag but please beware if you’ve missed the signs.If you are interested in being published with Men’s health, contact them directly with a writing sample. Don’t fall for these guys.
