My elderly mother received a call from Mega Millions Lottery and Sweepstakes company. Phone number on my caller ID 876-490-6248. He called three times today. Associated with New York Lottery. She won $ 2.5 million. Also won a 2017 pearl white convertible Mercedes Benz car. They did not ask for money. He asked me if I ever heard of a W2G Form. He said anything over $10,000 I need to pay taxes. If its a lump sum it needs to be licensed and registered with Federal Government. I asked what the registration fee would be. He put me on hold and we were disconnected. I called back. It went to voice mail. I did not leave a message. I know it is a scam.
