Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

Phishing scam via phone claiming to be Medicare in regards to a back brace. I do have issues with hip & lower back pain & have been treated for such which made the call believable. He asked what meds I took for it & level of pain. He asked for hip &waist measurements. He gave his name as Alan G. Baker & employee #k-012. His accent did not fit his name. He said the company that would send the brace was Simply Medical supplies out of Hollywood, FL. Stated that a Dr. would call in a few days to see if I was appropriate for the brace & would then discuss it with a PT. They had my name, address & age. Because it was so believable I unfortunately gave my Medicare #. I got suspicious after & notified Medicare & they took down the info. No item has been received at the time.
