Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

I have recently begun receiving dozens of phone calls daily from unknown callers telling me about a knee, neck or back brace that I have either ordered, that my "health care provider" has prescribed, or is otherwise available to me at "no cost".

Many of the callers show on my caller ID as an individual name (unknown to me), some with just a city and state as the caller’s ID, and others as some sort of bogus business name while some even claim to be calling from Medicare directly. Upon being told "NO thank you, please remove me from your calling list," some have just hung up, while others try to argue their pitch, and a couple have resorted to profanity before hanging up.

I am getting these calls every day, at all times of day, and all from different names/identities. Every one of the callers have had heavy foreign accents. I never have allowed the call to get past them identifying the reason for their call, but I am quite sure this is a phishing scam to get me to divulge personal information such as social security or medicare ID numbers and possibly more.
