Type of a scam Debt Collections

This guy named Brian, called me saying I owe the Greenville Hospital System and asked for my information and I told him that I didn’t know if it’s a scam so he repeated my ss number, my birthday and my old address but told me to give him my zip code. I told him that I didn’t have any money then he got rude and saying I should pay my bill instead of waiting on my taxes. I have never had be so rude and I looked up the number and results says it’s a scam so I need to know. Thanks
