I contacted Microsoft regarding an update that would not download.

The chat did not help so the had someone call. They gave me a case #etc and took over my computer. After some time they said it would take an hour and the would call back.

After the updated finished, someone called back and sold me a lifetime

Protection policy for $699.

I called Microsoft this morning and they said they had no such product.

The above is the address the person on the phone gave me.

I have no idea how they knew to call me when the legitimate download

was complete
