Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I applied for a loan online and it said I would be contacted by whoever approved me. The people called from a 707 area code. He said I could loan 4000 at a payment of 200 a month for 22 months. I told them I needed to wait a couple days to think it over. I immediately googled the phone number and all the reviews said scam. So I called the number back and said its a no no way I would agree to this. They said I would owe a 550 dollar cancellation but I never signed or agreed to anything. It scared me so I closed my bank account and filed a identity theft report and notified my credit bureau. When this man called he had all my information including my social, address, and drivers license.
