I responded to an ad for a house on Craigslist. Everything was going smoothly until they requested money and gave me the information to send it. I felt a little sketch so I did some more digging. They had told me they live in Las Vegas due to work and need to rent the place since they haven’t been able to sell it. I asked for pictures of the home in which they sent, however they did not match the home listed. I checked the website Zillow for the listing and pictures of the home. I further asked for the address and they said it’s in the application. They were requesting I send $550 through Walmart to the name not given in the email. If at all you feel this isn’t right. It’s not check the address ask for pictures and trust your gut.
