Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I can’t remember if I got an email first (which I can’t access now) or a text but I received a text informing me that I was hired and short listed for employment. I gave my address and was 2nd day delivery’d a check for 2k+ and instructed to deposit it and text him, Martin Grey, as soon as I’d done so. I didn’t get back to him and he’s still trying to get me to text him back. The check said it was from a well known title company.
