Just to make sure I’m on the same page, we are looking for (25) 11×14 frames in the style pictured, correct?

Also, are you needing glass/acrylic for the frames?

Are we assembling them, or are we just providing the frame material?

I’m sorry to hear that you are unwell.

The shop address is on the estimate, as well as the footer of these emails.

You may text message me regarding the order, pickup, etc, at xxxxxxxxxx

We will need a deposit of 50% before starting work, the balance due upon completion.

We can also remove the sales tax if this is an exempt donation/purchase through the church. If that is the case, we will need a letter of exemption.

——At this point he texted saying that the amount was ok, then started asking whether or not I am the business owner.

I have, of course been suspicious of this from the beginning, especially since the email was sent to a bcc, which means that it most likely went to a number of companies all at once.

At this point I haven’t given out anything more than what is listed above, though I’m not sure what the method of scam was meant to be, it certainly has an air of illegitimacy about it.
