I was contacted by MailDail via email with an opportunity to work from home with the following responsibilities: – Working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm according to your local time, Monday – Friday. You are not required to work on Federal holidays. – You will use the database as a tool to monitor incoming orders and to download/upload pictures and documents. You will also use the database to keep in contact with me, and with different departments later on. You need to sign in each morning at 9 AM and take care of orders and messages. – You must be available for deliveries at your listed address during working hours. Additionally, you must be easily reachable at the phone number we have on file for you during this time. – You must log in to the database every 1-2 hours to monitor new and existing orders. – You must reply to chat messages and emails within 1-2 hours. – Please process (check, get ready and ship) all the orders on the day of arrival of conveyance, or at the very latest on the following day. – You must keep all the shipping information updated in the database in a timely fashion. – You must report any issues, setbacks, or changes to me as soon as possible. – You should have access to a computer, a printer and a digital camera (a cell phone with a camera is fine). Ideally, you will have access to these devices at home. Alternatively, you can have access to these devices within working hours at a site away from your home, provided you are able to perform all job requirements in a timely manner. If you do not have access to the required equipment at any point, inform me immediately. I will hold your deliveries until you have made arrangements to access this equipment. The company is able to reimburse you for the costs of a basic digital camera and a printer. We will not reimburse the cost of a laptop, a desktop computer, or a tablet." I was told that the first 30 days were probationary and that I would get paid at the end of the 30 days with the amount of $2100 + $50 expense bonus. If I was approved to be hired on full time, I would make $2400 + $100 expense bonus each month. What I could not wrap my mind around was why packages that were shipped through the postal service were being sent to me only to be re-shipped through the postal service. I was supposed to have been paid on April 16, 2018, by direct deposit to my bank account. There was no Check deposited at all. I have email payroll and called with no response. I also emailed an tried calling my supervisor and still no response. I tried emailing the gentleman in HR who initially hired me and no response. I gave these people whom I trusted some personal information and don’t want anyone else to fall victim. I would like to still be paid for the 30 days that I worked for this company.
