Type of a scam Online Purchase

Offer was for a free felt letter board if I paid for shipping. Ordered a few other items as well. Got a confirmation for my order, paid with paypal thankfully, and then a week later, got a shipping notification coming from China. Thought it was weird, but was assured through email from the company when asked, that they have it shipped directly from the supplier. Last check 2 weeks ago, and it showed that it was making it’s way to the US. Last week, checked and found the company site is gone and the email no longer works. Searched facebook for the site and found a support group of hundreds of others who have been scammed by this company as well. Turns out, we were all given the same tracking number and everyone has a very similar story, with no product.
