Type of a scam Debt Collections

This Company keeps calling and threatening me, over my husband, over a bill that happened in 2005, he knows NOTHING about. Sometimes they call 5 times a day, even after I tell them not too. Sometimes they call and leave vicious vile messages. Sometimes they threaten lawsuits. Consistently they refuse to send us a copy of the original bill. They told us it was for and overnight hospital stay at a Georgia Hospital. The original bill was for 236.00, but they wanted to collect 765.00.

I can’t help these collectors bought bad paper, but they have no right to do this to us. Nor do they have the right to keep placing this on his credit report.

When they called today, I was told that my phone number was used as the contact number on the original bill. Number 1, I didn’t get my phone number until 2010. Number 2, we didn’t get together until 2008, three years after the original bill date.

This is harassment, and it needs to stop.
