Type of a scam Employment

Started with a text saying job offer was available. Job was a virtual assistant to help keep records of a supposed business. The job would supposedly pay $500 a week. After receiving my name, email, phone number, and address, I was contacted almost immediately via email saying that I was chosen due to my location for the job. I was then asked what my hours looked like and what qualified me for the position. Sensing a scam, I replied to the email saying I was no longer interested. The following morning, they replied back, giving instructions for today’s daily task even despite saying I was not interested. There so far has been no attempt to take money from me, but I know that virtual assistant job offer scams often try to take money, so I will be on the lookout. I would advise anyone who receives a text like I did to not fill out the info they ask for and do not respond to their emails if they do send them.
