This place is a scam. Long story short, I worked for them for a week, they sent me a check and it was fraudulent!

Type of a scam Employment

I received an employment offer and acceptance email from Longford Resources LTD. as an Administrative Executive. The job would pay over $25.00 – $30.00 hourly after 2 weeks of training and would receive benefits, 401K, plus vacation. However, I was sent a cashier’s check and asked to purchase equipment and to deduct the amount of my time/hours I had worked during the training process. This was all conducted via Gmail and Google Hangouts. When I asked Mr. Ford Dempsey, who said that they were located in Los Angeles, to explain this process and that I had been warned by my "FBI" friend about such scams. I never got another reply or email. I was able to look up the actual company & found that they are a mining company located in Western Australia and Ireland. I never opened the check FedEx letter for fear of losing any fingerprints but the return address was for Beth Wilkinson 2242 Mt Paran Road, Atlanta GA 30327. This is something that should be looked into because they are using what appears to be a reputable company to make a financial gain/profit. This is also similar to a Personal Assistant inquiry that I received from a James Hagen that works for Phillip Morris International. The Phillip Morris website specifically warns about such Google Hangout scams and that all of their available positions are done through their official websites. Beware!
