Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I was trying to get a loan to get myself back on track from a motorcycle accident. James Anderson contacted me via text message and said that he could help. Some how he logged into my online banking and disputed $1100 in transactions. He told the bank that he was me. After disputing the transaction he said that he deposited $1100 into my account and as "good faith " I needed to go to Walmart and purchase 3 cash cards. 2 totaling $500 and 1 totaling $100. After doing so to call him back and give him the numbers off of the card. I did that.

I did not realize that the money that I used to purchased that Walmart cash with was what he disputed with the bank pretending to be me.

I filed a police report. Report# 19-0005114.

I googled loans for bad credit and one of the loan agencies was Loan Up, looked up the reviews and how it compared to others on BBB. ScamPulse.com said it was one of the better ones it wasn’t until I asked them for their address and all they would give me Texas so I knew something was wrong. Time to notify BBB.
