Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

My 90 year old mother received knee braces sent by Layne Medical Supply, Inc. When I called to get info on how this transaction came about since my mother has no need of braces of any kind, the agent was unable to tell me when the order had been placed, who took the order, how contact had been made, etc. The only information I got was that a Dr. Lawrence Berman had prescribed these for my mother. Needless to say we have never heard of this Dr. Berman. I requested someone higher up on the chain of command to get the info I’ve requested and was told someone would call me back. I’ve yet to hear from anyone. Disgraceful behavior – ple[censored]d them accountable.
