Type of a scam Debt Collections

This company, a "Law Firm" reached out to my brother and my grandmother via phone in regards to my mothers "Debt". It worried my mother that they called her mother in law and threatened to put a lean on her property so she paid the $4000 debt by credit card. They provider her with dosusign document of a receipt. After examining the website and realizing 1. the address they use that appears to be a physical address is in fact a post office box 2. there is absolutely no other information anywhere on the internet about the "law firm" 3. they claimed to have a b+ rating with the ScamPulse.com but they are in fact not on the ScamPulse.com website and lastly the phone number did not match the documents provided to her. I called the bank and the transaction was going to J&B financial which is some company in South Korea. I called the company and they could not explain any of these findings. After a few back and forth comments they simply asked "are you canceling the payment". I had my mother cancel the credit card as they now have all of her information and chase bank will be able to investigate further once the transaction is no longer pending. I asked for legal documentation to be sent and to not contact my mother anymore.
