Type of a scam Tech Support

My 88 year old mother has been the victim of this same scam by two different companies, who prey on older individuals. They create "click bait" pop ups that make it appear that your computer is popping up a message that tells them, your computer has a virus, then says to call Microsoft at the number listed. By doing so the senior (or other non computer saavy person) is convinced that they must immediately call this phone number. They then reach the company "All American Tech" or whatever they’re calling themselves that day. The staff convinces the caller that they can solve all of their virus issues with installation of their software (by the tech…aka SCAMMER), done so by taking over access to their computer. This is when the ACTUAL virus is installed, along with bogus "Anti Virus" software, leaving the caller with an infected computer and a bank account minus $149.99! My mother was scammed by this company and is out $149.99. Fortunately, the previous company was not able to successfully take money from her, as their fee was much more steep, and she told them she could not afford it! Please help to stop these scammers!!
