Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I was contacted about a car wrap "opportunity" in which i was sent a bogus check (which was discovered to be bad) and then a "replacement" cashiers check was fed ex’d. Because of my suspicious nature I went to cash a check cashing place to cash the "cashiers check" at which time i was told the check was bogus and the location kept the "check".
