I had been on the phone for over half an hour with iTech-Squad, who claim that from their office in "Falls Church, Virginia", are a legitimate company that provide online tech support through remote access directly into customer’s computers and asking for a One Time Assistance fee of $155.70. All of the employees had a thick Indian accent and were reluctant to give me the full address, suite, phone number, extension number, and email address of the company. The building in which the company is based out of is a large office building with several suites inside. The employees that kept passing me off to different departments couldn’t give me an identical suite number. I had spoken to a Kevin, Alice, Alice, Barney, and another Kevin from the company. I asked for all personal information regarding my senior father, including his credit card number, personal telephone number, and any other personal data to be returned to him, along with a full refund of the transaction. Only $99/$155.70 were offered. I kept asking for a manager but it sounded like it was the same two people passing the phone back and forth. When I asked for their business credentials to formally take them to court, the manager on duty threatened to block my telephone number. No straightforward response was given to ensure his money and personal information would be returned.
