Type of a scam Tax Collection
A person identifying their self as Jay Tyler called me on 5/12/16 stating that he was with the IRS and that I owed $786.00. He was very demanding and wanted payment over the phone. I explained that I am a disabled retired Veteran and that I do not file taxes. He then stated that it was fee’s for not having to file a tax return. I started questioning him about the fees and he continued to insist on a payment. I told him that I could not pay the fee’s, he then asked if I could pay at least half of it. I then hung up.
