Type of a scam Identity Theft

Keep getting phone calls from this number claiming to be the IRS investigators and that I owe a debt that if not paid I will be arrested and have charges against me. I called the IRS directly and did not call this number back, I was told that at no point will the IRS call me if there was an investigation against me, they would contact me via registered mail. I’m convinced this is an identity theft scam. I have not spoken with a agent from this number but they also left me a voicemail.

they called me at 5:48am and left thearly Oslo wing message (I called them back and it’s a fake place man with heavy accent said they can use any phone number in the world to call me to collect debt because they are the IRS). message was-

"That IRS is filling lawsuit on your name because you had tried to do a fraud with the IRS Internal Revenue Service and we are taking legal action and we are issuing an arrest warrant on your name to get more information regarding this case file. Just call us back on our department number is 623-233-3379. I will repeat it 623-233-3379. Thank you."
