Type of a scam Tax Collection

I received a call from the above named number on Saturday October 20 at 1:04 pm. I was instructed to press one to speak to "the officer." I asked for his name and ID number. I think he said his name was Jeff Thomas, but the speaker had such a heavy East Indian accent I told him I couldn’t understand him. Another call from this number came in at 1:05 pm and I let it go to voice mail. The message indicated that I should press one to speak to an officer. Since I am certain this is a scam, I did not return the call.

I recd a voice mail yesterday at 1:00 PM. The man stated this is the IRS and a lawsuit will be filed unless you contact us to make arrangements to pay your taxes. They also threatened me but I did not pay too much attention.

I received a call stating that it was the IRS and that I owed back taxes and needed to pay right away or I would be arrested. They left a call back number of 614-349-9751.

I received a message on my answering machine that said it was my final warning and a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I was to call 346-998-0099 immediately. I knew it was a scam as I pay my taxes on time. I did not call them back.
