Rec’d phone call stating they were from the IRS & that an arrest warrant was pending unless my attorney called them back. I called back. They gave their name, badge#, all legit sounding. After they told me what I “owed” the IRS in tax evasion, I told them I would hang up & call IRS myself. Which I did. They confirmed it is a scam.

Received two landline calls from an IRS imposter stating that the IRS is suing me and I should call a number (I didn’t write it down). It sounded like a robot (scripted recording) as I could not interrupt the caller. First call was on January 19, 2016 at 338 pm, the second on January 20, 2016 at 406 pm CST. The call came from 202-640-3413 both times with a Washington DC Zone one ID. I since added that number to my block list.
