Type of a scam Tax Collection

Called my cell phone, a recording (female voice) saying she was with the IRS and money was owed and to call back the numbers I provided. Out of curiosity, but knowing it was a scam, I attempted to call back the first time on Jan. 5, 2016 @ 11:09 am. A man with a foreign accent answered and I then hung up. They called Jan.5, 2016 @ 11:08 am from #509-643-4481 and called again today, Jan. 6th, 2016 @ 8:53 am from #202-657-4712. I just hung up the second time. No money was lost and no information on my part was given. I suffered no loss.
