I could trace the call from Jamaica. Said his name was James Peterson with Badge #8517 and from phone #876-249-8424. Was calling from the Unclaimed Department of International Payout Services and gave me phone # 731-432-6957. Said the package was in Anchorage. Made references to Walmart ( where I never shop) and Sweepstakes companies (which I have not entered for 20 years).He said Better Business Bureau was recording the call and they were legit. Very persistent. Finally told him I was reporting this to Better Business Bureau as a scam and hung up. I did not give him any personal information nor proceed with any intent other than to tell him this was a scam and would be reported. Guess coming from Jamaica he might be out of ScamPulse.com range because he never gave up.
