Type of a scam Employment

The following was the information I received;

The IMDS (International Material Data System) is global data storage system for product contents that are used in the automotive industry. The IMDS was originally a joint effort by Audi, BMW, Daimler, HP, Ford, Opet, Porsche, VW and Volvo. Many other manufacturers have joined the community of IMDS and it has now become a global standard that is used everywhere.

The IMDS has used to gather data for various reporting requirements since 2000. All materials that are used in manufacturing are collected,

maintained, analyzed and archived and makes it possible for the compliance officer to meet the obligation that are placed on the automobile manufacturers and their suppliers. The IMDS system recognizes hazardous substances by comparing the entered data with a list of prohibited substances. This helps OEM’s to trace hazardous substances back to the exact part and then eliminate the problem through the supply chain before it gets to the consumer.

In the IMDS, all materials present in finished automobile manufacturing are collected, maintained, analysed and archived. IMDS facilitates meeting the obligations placed on automobile manufacturers, and thus on their suppliers, by national and international standards, laws and regulations.

You will be working online and from home, the working hours are flexible and you can chose to work from anywhere of your choice, the pay is $23.7 per hour during full working hours and the training is $13.75 and you will be getting your payment weekly or bi weekly via direct deposit or paycheck and the maximum amount you can work a week is 45 hours.if you are employed you are going to be working as a full employee and not an independent contractor…..

The accounting department is processing your check and due to the delay in mailing service you will be receive and e-check. Make sure your IM is available i mean stay online and let me know once your receive the email containing the company’s check, please note that every hour spent online from this moment is being calculated and will be included in your salary.

They emailed me a check for mobile deposit.

Dear Benita Dillon,

I am Mr Kenneth Anderson, the Accounting Officer at IMDS, and i was instructed to email you an electronic PDF Check. Below are attached PDF documents of your the front and back copy of your PDF check. I need you to notify me via email immediately you receive this check for confirmation that you have received it. 

HOW TO MAKE THE DEPOSIT

* Print using colored printer and ensure to cut paper into check size.

* Endorse the check by signing on the first line,  write 

" FOR HR BLOCK MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY " 

on the second line below your signature at the back page of the check.

* Login to your Bank’s Mobile App.

*  Click on Check Deposit and select required deposit amount.

* Take a clear photo of the front and back of the check size as it appears on the picture.

* Verify that the image is clear.

* Submit your request.

* Wait for confirmation from your bank.

After you submit your request, be sure not to deposit the check again. A check is only good for one deposit / payment. 

Attach herewith a screen shot or receipt of  the deposit confirmation to enable the company release the funds and for proper documentation..
