Type of a scam Government Grant

was told by a former employer to apply for this grant (The IDA grant) apparently it is nation wide for lower income individuals to help with debt consolidation, home improvements etc. I texted the number she provided (as listed above) and they reply was to upload my information to start the process…. no web site was provided and no one physically called me to discuss this.

I did look on the NJ website and do see that they offer IDA grants however the phone number do not jive and neither does the information that was provided to me… just curious to see if this is an actual thing or a scam.
