Type of a scam Employment

I got a cashiers check in the mail today for $1,490.18 along with a letter congratulating me on being chosen as a Secret Shopper. The letter told me to deposit the check into my bank account and as soon as the funds become available to go to either Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target or Walgreen’s and by some gift cards. They want $600 in Ebay gift cards, $500 in Google Pay gift cards and then I can keep $300 for my troubles. Then, I’m supposed the buy a $20 cashiers check, make it payable to The Red Cross, and then call for further instructions.
